Welcome to
Manchester Parks and Recreation
We envision an interconnected system of parks, trails, memorials, facilities and programs that promote healthy individuals and communities through:

  • Four seasons of diverse and inclusive recreational activities
  • Opportunities to access and enjoy Manchester’s natural amenities
  • Celebrations of life, art, history, culture and place
  • Safe and attentive management of grounds, buildings and programs

Explore RecDesk to learn about our youth programs and the abundance of recreation areas we offer, including: athletic fields and courts; ice arenas; aquatics facilities; golf and disc golf courses; an outdoor multi-purpose stadium; walking and biking trails; fishable waters; manicured parks; school playgrounds; and open space.

Many of parks and facilities are available for reservation upon request. Depending on the location and planned activity, fees may apply.

The City of Manchester is committed to protecting and promoting the health of our community. While a handful of park facilities remain closed, most amenities have reopened.

If you choose to enjoy one of our parks at this time, we ask that you and your children follow the COVID-19 safety rules posted on site, as well as standard safety measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
